A picture is painted of the God who rescues all humanity out of his immeasurable “grace-full-ness”.
God is defined as the One who cannot rest until all of humanity is gathered under his wings.
In Exodus, in Paul and in John – humanity acts ungraciously and is made gracious by acts of God.
The divine encounter always starts with individuals, but moves into the community to affirm, enlighten and heal our shared humanity.
Ezekiel compares the Word of God with bones revived from the grave. Paul expands this idea and states that we can be restored by the Spirit which raised Jesus from the grave.
