We are encouraging all schools to run their own Noah Day this September – to help pupils have a deeper understanding of Noah and our creation care responsibilities.
To get you started, we have produced the following resources and collective worship plans with help from the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales and the Dioceses of Westminster and Clifton:
Pupil-led Collective Worship
A resource pack created by Westminster Diocese to help pupils plan and lead collective worship themselves.
Collective Worship for Key Stage 1
A collective worship plan created by Clifton Diocese for teachers to use with their Key Stage 1 pupils.
Collective Worship for Key Stage 2
A collective worship plan created by Clifton Diocese for teachers to use with their Key Stage 2 pupils.
The Story of the Rainbow and Discussion Questions
A story about diversity and interdependence to share with pupils and discuss using the follow-up questions.
Prayer Stations
Three different prayer station suggestions with reflection questions and activities. Written by Kevin Loud of Clifton Diocese.
Noah and Creation Care for Older Pupils
A theological reflection on the story of Noah plus key information on COP 26, the 2015 Paris Agreement and what we can do. Written by Elliot Vanstone, Mission Adviser at CBCEW.
